Critical functions of Diesel Fleet Mechanic * Must possess basic mechanic tools as required to work on class eight trucks (heavy duty) * Communicate effectively to ensure efficient repair and diesel fleet mechanic performance * Inspect equipment; report mechanical issues and problems to shop management * Ensure parts inventory is adequate to meet repair needs, or report as necessary * one year; Diagnosing and Repairing Engines/ Air Brake Systems on Class eight Trucks * one year; Previous background Welding (either Stick or MIG) and Fabricating parts * 1 yr; Diagnosing and Repairing Suspension/Hydraulic Systems on Class eight Trucks Qualifications of Diesel Fleet
