Land Survey Technician/Draftsman - (Tyler, TX)

Job details E.L.S. Surveying & Mapping, Inc. is looking for a Land Survey Tech/Draftsman for a full-time position located in our Tyler, TX office. E.L.S. has been serving the petroleum industry for more than 70 yrs and is continuing to grow. Responsibilities: · Effectively communicate with Land Surveyors, field crews, office staff and clients to ensure position qualifications are meeting expectations. · Design maps based on fieldwork and layouts. · Ensure final maps comply with appropriate internal and external standards. · Other duties of similar nature may be assigned. Qualifications: · Must have experience with oil and gas land surveying. · Expertise to problem solve. · Must have experience building drawings in a specified format. · Attention to detail and accuracy. · Expertise to meet deadlines. · Must be self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision. · Proficient with CAD software (Carlson). · Must possess management skills. · Expertise to draft a variety of jobs. · S.I.T.
