Position description Use your desire to mentor youth to help Foster Youth and Families in need Our Children’s Homestead is a Foster Care and Adoption agency that primarily serves youth who require specialized care. Our mission is to build a strong, stable foundation of support for each youth we serve and to develop opportunities that enable them to discover and sustain a positive future. To assist us in achieving this mission, we are currently seeking Mentors in our Naperville and Rockford, Illinois locations. Our Children’s Homestead (OCH) works to match each foster child with a mentor who has similar interests and assures that our children have the opportunity to learn life skills such as healthy relationships, self care, the importance of community, and work readiness - within the context of a warm, supportive, caring mentor relationship. Through OCH’s mentoring program, we are committed to assuring our children are well prepared to be independent, successful citizens.
