Biomechanical Researcher - (Cincinnati, OH)
Position details Under the direction of a team of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Specialists and biomechanical engineering scientists, primary assignments include assistance with robotic knee studies including testing coordination, specimen preparation, hands on testing and data analysis. Specific Duties Include: Work directly with an orthopaedic sports medicine specialist and biomechanical engineering scientist in the maintenance and operation of a 3-D robotic knee ligament testing device. Coordinate specimen testing including placement of specimen orders and other necessary supplies. Also coordinate testing schedule with biomechanical scientists and orthopaedic surgeons to make sure the testing is completed without delays. Assist in the data collection related to orthopaedic sports medicine fellow projects. Perform analysis of data and assist in preparation of data for publication and/or abstract submission. Research current topics in knee injury and repair to help guide current and future research efforts.
