Job details GENERAL SUMMARY : Product Assurance Tester III, performs an integral role in game development, testing, tuning, debugging, and suggesting detailed refinements that lead to higher quality and better playability of the finished game. The job involves creating the test cases and testing the game in a systematic way, analyzing the game’s performance against design documents and regulatory requirements, identifying problems, and suggesting improvements. In effect, they act as the game’s 1st audience, reporting on playability and identifying any aspects which could be improved. Testers are responsible for assuring quality in the final product and for finding flaws in a game before it is released. The expectation of this position would be to help in the creation of automated test cases through Selenium or another automation tool. The Product Assurance Tester III may also play a role in mentoring other Product Assurance Testers.
