GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Driver Check In Returns position counts, measures, and weighs products to verify the contents of returned items against invoices and drivers' truck sheets. This role verifies the items returned by customers and returns products to the appropriate selection slot. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes the receiving of product returns in a timely and efficient manner. Unloads returns, pallets, blankets, etc. from trailers upon their return. Verifies the exact count on all items received and returned, noting any discrepancies on the appropriate paperwork. Ensures 100% accuracy in documentation related to verifying and receiving returns. Examines articles for defects and sorts articles according to the extent of the defect. Attaches identification data onto pallets and products.
