Precision Machinist CNC (159) - (Archbald, PA)

Job details This is a full time, 9-months contract, located in Archbald, PA This is a second shift position We are conducting a search for a CNC Machinist to perform set ups and machining operations on various CNC machines (primarily three to 4 axis) for prototype and regular machine runs. Candidate will perform machining duties such as cutting, drilling, milling, boring, punching, laser, abrasive water shape cutting for metal and non-metals. Candidate will have to attach holdup fixtures per set up instructions. They will also design and fabricate highly complex fixtures and tooling. Candidate will incorporate expert knowledge on the material in use to determine the most efficient and effective speeds and feeds. Work together with tool design personnel assuring minimal problems during tool proofing of parts. Work together with engineering using drawings, sketches and verbal instructions to develop manufacturing processes and design enhancements for pre-production parts.
