Housekeeper - $11/hr minimum - (Janesville, WI)

Job Description Position description: Under the direction of the Director - Environmental Services/Plant Operations, the Supervisor - Environmental Services, or in-charge staff, performs housekeeping duties necessary to maintain designated area in a clean and orderly manner to ensure an environment that is aesthetically and bacteriologically clean and safe for the patient, employees and others. Responsibilities: Assembles necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for specific work assignment and reports equipment that is in need of repair. Cleans and maintains all equipment used on shift including vacuum, cart, mop buckets, floor machines, floor signs, trash carts, furniture moving equipment, and all other equipment necessary to perform the functions of this job according to established procedure. Cleans hard floors and carpeting by sweeping, dust mopping, wet and dry mopping, spotting carpets, and buffing to maintain surfaces in the assigned areas.
