NYC Department of Buildings is hiring for a Code and Zoning Specialist job in Jersey City,NJ Proposed Compensation range: $ 50,990.00 - $100,000.00 (Annual) Position details The selected individual will be responsible for interpretations regarding code and zoning issues. This is a high level leadership position and the individual must be capable of executive level performance. Under direction, the selected applicant will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Regularly consulting with principals, including owners, design professionals and contractors to anticipate and resolve potential zoning, code, or other regulatory iS,sues in order to minimizeimpact on the critical path of project schedules. Evaluating and tracking construction activities in New Building (NB) applications or major Alteration (ALT. I) applications for complex, high profile developments throughout the city.
