Lead Buyer, Capex NA - (Youngstown, OH)

Position description FUNDAMENTAL MISSION: Contribution : Manage the sourcing process for mid and large Capex projects Define and manage project sourcing strategy and procurement plan together with project team. Negotiate and secure investment contracts mainly related to projects in Youngstown . Negotiation and contract form shall meet obligation of results and optimize risks mitigation. Sourcing Contribution in terms of cost avoidance Cooperation : Comply with all framework, technical qualifications Capex management and sourcing processes but considering local practice as well. Work with sourcing team based in Europe for some key suppliers managed globally in Europe Strategy : Project Procurement Manager (PPM) for Strategic Capex projects with , Notification and update of the sourcing strategies Specific follow-up of key account relationship with dedicated strategic supplier on global level (incl. tracking of activities).
