Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Technician - (Marion, IA)

Position summary Meier Veterinary Clinic is a busy, energetic small animal practice with long term clientele. We strive to practice veterinary medicine at a high-level, all while maintaining affordability. We are dedicated to trying our best and ensuring that our patients are happy and as stress free as possible. We are looking for a person who shares our commitment toward animal health and desires to learn continually. Additional qualities we are looking for include someone who is dependable, responsible and able to multitask as well as being able to work well in a team atmosphere. Job responsibilities will include animal care, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, filling medications, assisting the veterinarian and cleaning as needed. Our preference is for a full-time person but part time may be considered for the right candidate. Starting wage dependent on education and experience. Salary 27,000- 38,000/ year dependent on education/ experience. Education/ experience preferred but not required.
