Certified Nurse Aide, Actors Fund Home/FT & PT - (Hackensack, NJ)

Position overview The Certified Nurse Aide will: Administer general physical care to residents in all aspects of personal care and hygiene. Assist in all aspects of activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, grooming, toileting, etc.). Provide restorative nursing care using universal precautions and/or infection controls. Assist with and/or perform basic resident care procedures with proper supervision and instruction. Keep each resident clean, well groomed and as comfortable as possible. Ensure that all call bells are answered promptly. QUALIFICATIONS The Certified Nurse Aide will have a valid Nurse Aide Certification approved by the New Jersey Department of Health. The applicant must have a high-school graduate level verbal and written communications skills, including expertise to read and write in English and follow verbal and written instructions. Applicant must be able to maintain Nurse Aide certificate and complete twelve hours of continuing-ed per year as mandated by the N.J. Department of Health.
