Job summary The Qatar Patriot Training Team Interpreter Lead will manage a team of interpreters performing as required in support of Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training in Qatar. The interpreter lead will manage a team responsible for interpreting Patriot Weapon System concepts and info from English to Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and vice-versa. This position will be located in Qatar with initial domestic tasks prior to deployment. Responsibilities: Hiring interpreters as required by contract. Scheduling and day-to-day direction of resources in line with contractual qualifications. Training, assessment and performance development of interpreter staff Ensuring interpreters are prepared and meet qualifications for international deployment Handling day-to-day employee issues during deployment Stepping in as interpreter and/or instructor on an as-needed basis Necessary skills: Expertise to work efficiently and meet deadlines. Expertise to work in a team environment.
