Job overview Capital District Beginnings is an educational agency providing services for pre-school children with special needs through collaborative programs in the Capital District area. Our philosophy is to teach children with disabilities in their natural learning environment through integration. Beginnings is currently seeking a full-time (37.50 hours per week) Special Education Classroom teacher to join our growing community of professionals in Albany City. This position is anticipated to begin in October . Special Education Classroom Teachers will collaborate closely with Beginnings therapists and collaborating partner in an integrated setting within 1 of our UPK programs. In this position Special Education Classroom Teachers will be responsible for collaborating with Beginnings therapists and Beginnings partners, attending team/collaboration meetings, professional development and the supervision of a Teacher Aide.
