Position overview Cook - Deli (apply as a GM/HBC Deli Clerk and when called for interview let them know you are interested in the Cook position at that time) Job Summary: The Chef is responsible for the Prepare and Cook product in the Prepared Foods Department. Operations including providing guest service and assuring that teammates are following company policies and procedures. The Chef is responsible for: · Enhancing the guest’s experience by being friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and passionate about service. Making decisions regarding product quality and proper utilization of “shrink” items using company approved recipes · Possessing excellent guest service skills and act as the role model for other teammates · Achieving production and budget objectives Essential Job Functions: · Responsible for holding daily department meetings-covering daily specials, daily safety focus item review, weekly technique review, previous day’s department sales, push items, upcoming events/caterings
