Relay Commissioner - (Tampa, FL)

Position description Long-term Opportunity Immediate need for Substation Technicians in Florida Qualifications for the positions: -Perform testing/routine maintenance of T&D substation power equipment, relaying (electro-mechanical, solid state, and micro-processor), controls and communications equipment. - Testing including: reading /verifying all voltage and current inputs to relays; verifying all metering; calibrating all relays; trip testing; verifying all function switches -Perform routine troubleshooting and repair of substation relaying and control equipment -Commission new T&D substations -Plan, schedule, and complete projects efficiently, on schedule, and without service interruptions -Knowledge of Doble Pro Test RTS Education: Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering or /Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Electrical Technology preferred
