The individual will analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability. Identify and maintain suppliers that provide high-quality products and services at the best value, while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct. Maintain supplier relationships and manage the preparation of purchase orders and change notices. Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements. Negotiates or supervises the negotiation of complex requests for equipment, supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manages and controls all company external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of materials and parts for production. Ensures parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price.
