Total Industrial Engineer - (Battle Creek, MI)

Position details MIN REQUIREMENTS (MUST meet min requirements to be considered) Bachelor degree in Engineering or 8 yrs of engineering background. PREFERENCES Prefer applicant to have a good understanding of lean manufacturing and have the ability to apply these concepts to all applications including production, warehouse and the supply chain. Background with simulation software is a plus. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES High motivation and energy towards continuous improvement. Must be flexible to change projects and have the ability to multi-task as priorities change. Be flexible with working hours, as needed, to support project coverage and base month activities, including weekends periodically. Will often be involved in multiple projects at the same time and will need to prioritize. Must possess time study skills for line balancing and bottleneck identification. Ability to apply standardized work based on the environment.
