SUMMARY: ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance, previously known as Humane Alliance, focuses on the training of high quality, high-volume, and low-cost companion animal sterilization. Starting in 1994 as a small spay/neuter clinic in Asheville, NC, Humane Alliance grew into a nonprofit organization nationally recognized for fostering a mentoring culture across the country to successfully replicate its tried and tested clinic model. In 2015 Humane Alliance merged with the ASPCA, thus allowing us even greater exposure and resources to expand our programs. The Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) is responsible for daily care of all surgical patients, assisting veterinarians and veterinary assistants with pre-, peri- and post-operative care of patients, general cleaning, and (in consult with veterinarians) the flow of animals through the clinic.
