Clinician I - (Romulus, NY)

Position summary The Clinician I is responsible for the assessment and delivery of quality mental health care to youth and families. The Clinician will work on a multi-disciplinary team, assessing youth/family needs, and is responsible for developing, assessing and modifying the individual service plan in collaboration with the youth/family and multi-disciplinary treatment team. The Clinician will provide individual and group therapy, including structured and process groups, within the designated setting. The Clinician will utilize background, education, age-specific knowledge and cultural competence in order to assess and treat clients to achieve positive and successful outcomes and routinely successfully uses problem-solving skills. Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling or related area of study is required. NYS Professional License in area of study is preferred, however, applicants who are license eligible upon hire may be considered.
