Senior Companion - (New Albany, OH)

Companion volunteers are a consistent need for Hospice. People in the last season of life like to be surrounded by people who care, listen and offer support. They like companionship, walks, to have a book read to them, to listen to music and reminise about times gone by. Sometimes you will interact and talk. Sometimes you will just sit, hold thier hand and reassure them of your desire to be near them. No background needed. Friendship is a learned relationship between to people as they get to know and appreciate 1 another. Drug test, TB test, Fingerprinting are required.
