Job overview: The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking a Research Assistant who will assist in conducting a research project on spoken and written language development in children. Assignments include recruiting child participants; working with childrens families to schedule studies; driving children and their guardians to and from the laboratory; performing language, cognition and hearing assessments on them; testing them in eye-tracking and other experimental paradigms; assisting in experiment design and development; managing data; and participating in other research tasks. This work is a part of a large research team that includes the PI and several staff members, as well as graduate and undergraduate students.
