Astro is a World-Class 480 person, climate-controlled manufacturing facility that produces spherical bearings, rod ends, sub-assemblies and other precision metal parts for the aerospace industry. Responsibilities of this position include Support the Quality Manager in strategy and continuous improvement planning. Lead and direct teams for systemic quality improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives Applies knowledge of quality systems, practices and tools to improve the quality of the processes and products in support of meeting the quality and business goals of the organization. Collect and evaluate statistical data and take appropriate measures. Communicate issues or opportunities for improvement identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements.
