Grocery Backroom/Receiving Team Leader - (Cold Spring, KY)

Currently, Meijer is looking for a Grocery Backroom/Receiving Team Leader (45). Plans and directs teammates in the day to day operations of the Receiving and Inventory department. Manages department operations, oversees DSD receiving and salvage to help minimize shrink. Ensures teammates are properly certified in the receiving area and following safe procedures. Ensures all Inventory Coordinators understand proper product flow processes and oversees backroom organization and maintenance. Key Deliverables:Responsible for staffing selection and hiring to achieve staffing needsPromotes succession planning by providing career paths, identifying development needs and being involved with and accountable for promotion decisionsDocuments and applies disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning dischargeResponsible for P&L, achieving sales, labor and margin plans for the departmentReviews sales goals, supply costs
