Senior Design Engineer - (Springfield, OH)

Job summary Seeking a Sr. Design & Structural Analysis Engineer for a company in Springfield, OH. This is a direct hire position with comprehensive benefits and a superior company culture. Salary is based on background and the range is $70-85 k annually. Approx 25-30% FEA, 45-50% Design, 25% working on the floor with Production to implement new designs. PURPOSE: To provide design and product leadership utilizing Computer Aided Analysis and Simulation for all aspects of new product development and optimization of existing products. RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform Engineering design using structural calculations, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), to minimize development time and provide feedback to ensure products meet customer requirements in the Statements of Work. Enable smooth transition of new products from design to production as well as driving improvements into existing products through design, material selection, manufacturing process improvements, and other methods.
