Job summary // Production Painter Position title: Production Painter Reports To: Fabrication Manager Summary: A Production Painter is responsible for the preparation and finishing of all Storyland’s unique and creative projects. To prep a surface for paint and to bring a project to completion successfully, the Production Painter must have background in plastering, sanding, cleaning, and pre-paint masking along with proficiencies in spraying urethane based solid color, metallic, and clear coat. 2-5 yrs background in mixing paints and color matching is a plus. The skill required for this position is akin to the skill and art of automotive painting; not contruction based / wall painting. This job requires the expertise to speak, read and write English fluently and have a competent understanding of formal drawings, plans, and sketches.
