Position details Our client in Newton, NH is looking for a welder for either a Level I or Level II position (DOE). Great opportunity with a Outstanding company. This is a Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity. 1st shift Level one pay $18.00-20.00/hr. Level two pay $21.00-23.00/hr. Welder Assignments include: • Join together metal components or fabricated assemblies. • Cut, trim, or scarf metal objects to dimensions per layout, work order, or blueprints. • Operate plasma cutter & Oxy Acet torch • Operate hand grinder, power tools, saw, & ironworker • Operate welding machine and carbon arc machine • Set-up and fit-up components • Build fabrications to blueprints holding tolerances • Perform finish welding • Expertise to work unaided Skills & Requirements: • High-school graduate • 2-4yrs of experience in the field or in a related area • Certified for structural welding • Current understanding of welding techniques • Knowledge of materials & welding wires • Basic mathematical skills •
