Area Manager - COO - Real Estate - (Clermont, FL)

Job details Major manufactured home community in Central Florida is seeking a General Manager / Chief Operating Officer. The successful applicant will have a college diploma and at least 3 years of management experience or comparable successful community leadership background. The General Manager is responsible for a multi-million-dollar budget and will have oversight of over 60 employees. Understanding short and long term planning and background building budgets is required. The General Manager is also responsible for daily operations including, emergency, fire and medical services, finance, real estate, cable and internet, water and sewer, hone services, grounds, marina, transportation and numerous recreational facilities. The position reports to the Board of Directors. Strong executive management and human resource skills are a must. The successful applicant is expected to develop relationships with the local community, business entities and government. Salary and benefits are commensurate with background.
