Position overview We have teamed up with a great school district near Colchester, VT in need of a full-time Middle School special education teacher. The position will be 37.5 hours per week with a regular Monday-Friday school schedule. The district is looking for someone preferably with background with children in middle school but new graduates are welcome to apply. Employment Type: Contract Assignment Full school year Min Requirements/Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in special education, education, or a related position Special education certification in Vermont Background working with Middle school students Position assignments: Instruct students in various subjects Provide direct and indirect instructional support Meet with parents to discuss their childrens progress and determine priorities for them Participating in IEP meetings Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday District wants to interview and hire the right applicant
