Job details We are Inspired to Serve This position is responsible for the preparation of food for residents. This position uses standardized recipes to achieve proper quantities and consistent high-quality. This position must maintain a high standard of sanitation within the department and ensure qualifications are met in accordance with CRC standards as well as federal, state, and local regulation. The perfect applicant will have: High-school education or equivalent. 1yr of food service background in an institutional setting. Current state sanitation certificate. Expertise to read, write and speak in English effectively to use recipes, prepare meals and communicate effectively. Expertise to perform math to adjust recipes and convert measurements. Understanding of standard food measurements and equivalents. Must be of legal driving age and have current legal driver's license. Job Summary The purpose of this position is to prepare and serve meals and special functions for residents, employees, and visitors.
