Machinist Technician with Security Clearance - (Layton, UT)

Job summary Requirements * Education/Training (both required and desired): + High-school degree required + Associates Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred + Certified (formal technical training) in machining technology or associated discipline preferred, including CNC operations * Background: + 5+ years of professional expertise in the required task area + Military/Commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and manufacturing of parts desired * Security: + Must be a US citizen + Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Ability and Functions * Perform all phases of part machining including: + Cost estimating for all phases of machining process + Review of part/component/system technical data for completeness and accuracy + Processes definition & development of documentation + Identification of tooling, jig and fixture requirements & support/input/review of engineering designs + CNC file development
