CNC Machinist - (New Carlisle, OH)

Job summary New Carlisle, OH respected manufacturer is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to fill several second shift, full-time positions, Mon – Fri. $16.00/hour to $22.00/hour to start, depending upon background. Some OT (weekends) may be required. Temp-to-perm. Duties include: Setup and operate CNC machines to perform various machine functions (ie., cut, lathe, mill, and bore metal and nonmetal work pieces). Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine tooling qualifications and setup procedures. Mount, align and secure tooling, attachments and work piece on machines. Make programming and job improvements. Calculate and set machine controls to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow. Clean machine, tooling and parts. Perform machine maintenance. Regrind cutting tools as needed. Qualifications include: High-school certificate or GED with vocational certificate. Superior verbal and written correspondence abilities.
