Remote Sensor Scientist (Active TS/SCI) Work as a scientist in a fast-paced R&D team on EO/IR imagery systems with image or video collection problems, including characterization and exploitation. Continue prior work to incorporate new 3D shape estimations from 2D data calculation to accurately remove illumination effects for radiance calculation. Deliver new algorithms to A/CIO T to update GOTS image processing tool subroutines to accurately account for atmospheric variables affecting observed radiance at the target surface, ensuring that any residual effects are no longer present in the algorithm. Outline a way forward for automated calculation of tilted target angles and illumination angles per target subcomponent, through use of CAD models or photogrammetric methods and metadata, to deliver A/CIO-T for integration into the GOTS image processing tool. Outline a way forward for analysis exploitation and methodology, utilizing the signatures, to deliver scientists and analysts in NGA/ATS.
