PRN - Security Officer - (Peridot, AZ)

This position is PRN: On Call or As Needed The Security Officer is responsible for protective services in guarding SCAHC, property and safeguarding occupants, visitors and patients in and around the hospital campus and other designated areas, per policies. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS (include, but not limited to the following)* Patrols, on foot, all areas of the hospital to establish a security presence and ensure safety of patients, staff, providers and visitors* Identifies fire and/or life safety risk situations; initiates appropriate action to correct situation* Completes applicable reports of instances up to and including injury, damage or theft with appropriate documentation (images, witness statements, etc.) and coordinates intervention by appropriate law enforcement personnel, fire and/or emergency medical response as appropriate.
