Quality Engineer - (Elmira, NY)

Title: Quality Engineer The Quality Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction while ensuring that all quality management system processes are operating effectively. The duties shall include but not be limited to the following: Manages all quality related issues within the assigned manufacturing teams and associated support departments. Works with teams to identify root causes and develop/implement effective permanent corrective actions to address product/process quality issues. Works with stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality & safety standards. Performs product, process, system and supplier quality audits as assigned. Monitors and reports on quality related KPIs including scrap, rework, PPM levels, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
