Configuration Technician - (Cedar Falls, IA)

Position description Universal Industries, Inc., an established manufacture of bulk material handling equipment, has an immediate full time opening for a Configuration Technician. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science Background with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, preferred 1-3 yrs’ configuration or manufacturing related experience Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the configuration management plan. Develop configuration specifications. Provide technical support for system design, testing and implementation activities. Analyze and resolve system defects and problems. Recommend system enhancements and upgrades for performance efficiency. Troubleshoot configuration failures and issues. Develop process improvements to automate and streamline build processes. Ensure all releases and build processes are accurately documented and reported. Collaborate with the project design/build team in support of multiple, concurrent configuration baselines.
