Middle School Special Education Teacher - (Greer, SC)

Position summary 1 of Soliant's long-time clients, located near Greer, SC (15mis outside of Spartanburg, SC), is interviewing Special Education Teachers for the 2018-2019 school year. This is a modestly sized, suburban education community with which Soliant enjoys a solid working relationship. Info of the assignment below: Work with fifth and sixth grade students Teaching will be a combination of pull-out and push-in services Classroom of 20-25 students (to be finalized) As a Special Education Teacher, candidates will: Collaborate with the districts multidisciplinary team to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations regarding the special education needs of students Plan, develop, and implement Individual Educational Plans (IEP) for students requiring specially designed instruction, and assess the attainment of IEP goals. Ensure that case load IEP documents comply with state and federal regulations. Schedule and lead IEP meetings as required by state and federal regulations.
