We currently have an opening for personable, dedicated and reliable Cook to create, prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals for our residents. Because our assisted living is smaller in size, you'll get to know our residents and team members easily! Hours:Part-time with adjustable hours that includes every other weekend. Pay:Based on background. Duties:Food purchasing, planning, preparation, cooking and serving of food. Requires:Excellent cooking/culinary skills, the expertise to work autonomously, and customer focused while catering to a group of older adults. The expertise to communicate well with others, read and interpret recipes and follow directions is necessary. Must have strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and nutrition. We will provide the required DHS 83 state regulation training.
