Big Data Software Engineer / Developer - (Rome, NY)

Job Description Position description: CUBRC, Inc. has an immediate need to fill a Software development position working on state-of-the-art research and development projects. The applicant will join a small group of researchers, engineers, and software developers to design and implement advanced data analysis algorithms with the objective of providing actionable intelligence from a variety of big data sources. As a member of the project team, the successful applicant will be responsible for identifying, understanding, and applying appropriate cloud and big data tools and analysis techniques to meet this objective. Additionally, the applicant will contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including software system architecture design, implementation, integration, testing, demonstration, and documentation.
