Credentialing Specialist & Special Projects - (Austin, TX)

Position overview Easter Seals Central Texas is looking for a Credentialing Specialist/Special Projects to join their team. The Credentialing Specialist/Special Projects employee is a member of the revenue cycle team and is responsible for: 1. Responsible for all aspects of Provider enrollment to Commerical insurance products, Medicare and Medicaid for multiple states to include but not limited to TX, NY, NH and RI multi speicialty and behavorial health 2. Responsible for maintaing credentialing files and re-credentialing providers as requested by health plans. 3. Input and maintain credentialing web portal(s) as well as updating provider details as needed (CAQH, NPPES/NPI, OIG eclusion check's monthly, PECOS) 4. Responsible for contract negotiation around fee's and rates as directed by supervisor 5. Effective communication with the RC Department and programs regarding contracting.
