Position summary Life Insurance Medical Underwriter: Security National Life Insurance Company has an opening for an in-house Life Insurance Underwriter with a strong medial experience, in both ailments and medications. This job necessitates a person who has had at least 5yrs of home office underwriting experiences on various type of life insurance products. Is well versed in medical conditions, ailments, terminology, diagnosis, medical procedures and medications. Has worked with a Medical Director and understands the Life Insurance Application risk section process. Security National Life is a growing Company and is expanding its Underwriting Department. We are looking for an Underwriter who wants opportunities for additional responsibility and advancement with a dynamic growth company. The Role: This is a Senior Underwriting position. This person will work together with the Chief Underwriter, in assessing acceptable underwriting risk on applications. Assist in managing the Underwriting team.
