Armed Security Officer - (Galveston, TX)

Position overview We are seeking an Armed Security guard with valuable experience. You would be standing watch on a military post, either inside or out, patrolling and securing property perimeters, identifying and reporting risks and taking security actions for trained situations. You will report to a Supervisor on site, using top-notch professional demeanor, command presence, exemplary uniform while keeping current in training for all security tools in which you are certified. Responsibilities: Access Control: Lobby, Gate or Piers - monitoring via CCTV, Logs, Radio and Phone use Patrol all Buildings and Premises preventing damage, theft, violence, or infractions of rules Examine locks, fences, doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security Warn violators of rules and regulations, and write incident reports as appropriate Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts Report any facility issues such as fire hazards, suspicious activity, access issues
