Police Officer - (Humble, TX)

Job details Candidates must be 21 yrs of age, have a high-school diploma or the equivalent, (college not required but recommended), possess a valid Peace Officer license certified by TCOLE and able to pass a comprehensive written exam, physical fitness test, polygraph exam, psychological exam and medical exam. Candidates will also undergo a comprehensive experience check and drug screening. Salaries are based on a 6-year step program starting at $58,580 with annual step increases topping out at $67,859 . There is also a Modified Lateral Pay Scale for Texas Peace Officers. 2 to five weeks paid vacation depending on seniority. The City is a member of the Texas Municipal Retirement System with a 7% contribution and a two to 1 city match.
