Student Assistant - (Allentown, PA)

Job details We are currently looking for individuals to fill the following Paraprofessional opportunities around the Allentown area: Teachers Aide/Assistant and 1 on One Student Aides. Shift: six Hour Days Monday- Friday regular school hours (usually from 8-3PM) Working environment: Public Schools, Charter Schools, School Districts, Intermediate Units General Population: Children from 3 yrs old to 21yrs old, Autism Population, Behavioral Issues, Children with disabilities Description: Looking for motivated professionals to work as an aide with a child with emotional and behavioral disabilities. This position can involve helping teachers with any daily task that child has in place due to their IEP assessment. Daily job qualifications will be the following: • Working alongside the student making sure the environment is safe, nurturing and academically stimulating. • Monitoring any change in moods or behaviors. • Writing case notes of the child progress on a day to day basis.
