Position overview We are a franchised catering company serving the Western Suburbs of Chicago. We are seeking a Lead Cook to join our team You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish our brand and reputation. We primarily operate Monday to Friday serving only breakfast and lunch. We believe work life balance is important. This means your evenings and week-ends are not spent working. Responsibilities: Food preparation under the direction of the lead cook Coordinate food and kitchenware orders Check freshness and quality of ingredients Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures. Standardizes production recipes to ensure consistent quality Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
