Contracts Specialist - Attorney - (Philadelphia, PA)

Job overview The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts and related documents associated with oncology clinical trials supported by a non-profit clinical trial research group (“Group”) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as well as other agreements that may be required. The Contracts Specialist ensures that terms and conditions are negotiated in a timely manner while ensuring that agreements are legally sufficient and reflect the Group’s goals and objectives. Brief Summary of Key Duties & Requirements · Reviews contract and budgetary requirements to assist in the development of contractual agreements for Group projects. · Performs as part of a Contract Team that includes the General Counsel, Contracts Manager, legal support, program managers and other professional and administrative staff. · Obtains legal review of agreements to ensure legal sufficiency and that agreements reflect the Group’s goals and objectives in performing the clinical trials.
