M/WBE Compliance Specialist - (Pittsburgh, PA)

Position overview Summary The primary purpose of this position is to support the Contract Manager by promoting and monitoring procurement planning initiatives for the Authorities MBE/WBE components. The incumbent will develop relationships with minorities and women owned enterprise to ensure opportunities to participate in HACP contracts. All activities must support the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (“HACP” or “Authority”) mission, strategic goals and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The position assignments and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed. Promotes and expands MBE/WBE opportunities for the Authority; represents HACP at various meetings and events in order to promote the MBE/WBE program. Compiles appropriate documentation and resources for inclusion in vendor files; maintains records and data of results.
