Position details Overview of The Project and Position: The Women's Project is a unique pilot program of The Fedcap Group aimed at securing the release of women detained pre-trial at the Rose M. Singer Center on Rikers Island. Our approach involves comprehensive care coordination, vocational and educational programming, job placements and clinical support in the community as a viable alternative to pre-trial detention for women who would not otherwise qualify for release. We strive to support every participant with building a plan toward achieving economic stability, health and wellness, and strong community supports. At The Women's Project (The Project), we provide the support to rebuild confidence and the education to sharpen skills in order to create pathways to build a life of independence free of the criminal justice system.
