Medical director - (Eureka, CA)

Envision is searching for a Site Medical Director for the Hospital Medicine department at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. We will consider Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine applicants for this position. Director will be expected to work clinically as well as perform administration duties. Average daily census of 70 patients (can be up to 105/day) 5-6 physicians for am shift; one physician for pm shift Intensivists on site 24/7 with twelve bed ICU- will be expanding rooms Average census daily is 16-18 encounters per physician; approx 2-3 admissions per physician Meditech EMR Envision Physician Services is a dynamic, physician-led organization which has been offering exceptional career openings since 1972.
