Material Handlers and Shipping Clerks - (Erie, PA)

Position summary Local manufacturing company is looking for Material Handlers and Shipping Clerks. This is a temp-to-hire position and is located in Lake City, Pa so reliable transportation is required. Duties for the Material Handler include: bringing items and packaging to the lines, moving skids of finished product to freezer and/or truck, ensure that production needs are staged and available for the day. Duties for the Shipping Clerk include: Operating forklift and handjack, moving skids of freight on and off of truck, maintaining accurate transaction records, and working in a freezer environment for long periods of time. Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, be able to stand for an eight hour shift, and be able to work in a freezer environment. Must have prior hand jack background, forklift background is preferred.
